Apple Windows Media Instructions
First Team Broadcasting often provides coverage across a Windows Media platform. As Windows Media is naturally a Windows Product, please follow these steps to utilize it on a Macintosh (Apple) Computer.
'1. Download Flip4Mac (first time only): CLICK HERE to download Windows Media Player (Flip4Mac) for Apple Computers
'2. Proceed to install Flip4Mac plug-in (first time only)
'3. Once the installation is complete, Open your Apple Computer "Systems Preferences" Dialog Box from the Apple Menu in the top left corner (first time only)
'4. If you have successfully installed Flip4Mac you will see the Flip4Mac preferences under the "Other" category. Click on the Flip4Mac Icon (first time only)
'5. In the Browser setting, check the "Launch QuickTime Player" box in the Flip4Mac WMV dialog box (first time only)
'6. Restart your computer to ensure the settings have saved (first time only)
'7. Upon restarting your computer, proceed to access the appropriate game event link of your choice on the First Team Broadcasting Website
Troubleshooting:
If you have difficulty viewing a live stream on an Apple Computer, you can access a live event through the Quicktime application.
'1. Open the Quicktime application on your computer
'2. On the First Team Broadcasting website, select the game event of your choice, and click on the "click here to watch" link for Macintosh / Apple
'3. Copy the link to the right of the arrow next to the "URL for Macintosh / Apple Viewers"
'4. In Quicktime, go to the file menu and select "Open URL"
'5. Paste the link from the First Team Broadcasting website into the "Open URL" dialog box and click OK.
'6. Wait approximately 40 seconds to a minute and the broadcast should begin.
'7. If necessary, once the video screen appears, press play to begin the broadcast in Quicktime.
Inside Quicktime, if you have a black video screen and a spinning pin wheel, you will need to restart your computer as Quicktime was unable to read the file path.
